Square Serving Tray

This square serving tray is perfect for everything from serving sandwitches to displaying candles. All of our dishes are hand crafted by us in our studio. It starts as a flat piece of glass then it is hand cut and put in to the kiln for its first time to be fire polished. This changes the molecules in the glass to make it stronger. After that its cleaned then put on a mold and fired for the second time to slump. The slumping process heats the glass to molten and allows it to slump into or over the mold. Out comes your dish then it is inspected for thermal shock and other imperfections. Passing the final inspection its cleaned and signed. Match it with other pieces from this collection to create a signature dinner set. I hope you love this special dish as mush as we enjoyed creating it.
